Sunday night’s concert will show off the musical talent of local residents from the First Congregational Church of Hamilton. They will play “music for all,” including folk, popular and sacred music.
The church band will play at the bandstand at Patton Park from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2. It will be the next to last concert of the season as part of the Sundays in Patton Park concert series.
The concert is free and open to all. Audience members are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to sit on and also to pack a picnic dinner. The weather forecast calls for sunny skies and temperatures around 80 degrees, but if it does rain, the concert will be moved to the tabernacle at Asbury Grove.
The town of Hamilton is one of the sponsors of the summer concert series.
