Veterans Fair to Offer Resources to Help Navigate the System

Veterans – mark Sunday, Sept. 13 on your calendar.

Seal_of_the_United_States_Department_of_Veterans_Affairs_(1989-2012).svgAmerican Legion Post 194 in Hamilton will be hosting a Veterans Administration fair that day at the Legion hall, 37 School St. in Hamilton, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Veterans are asked to bring their DD214 or Veterans ID card. Lunch will be provided by Bonne Bouche Caterers of Wenham.

There will be dozens of agencies, organizations and individuals represented at the event, including representatives from the Beverly, Ipswich  and Salem veterans offices, VA VITAL Program, Community Recovery Connections Team, state Rep. Brad Hill and state Sen. Bruce Tarr, Chelsea Soldiers Home, a veterans representative from U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton’s office, North Shore Community College Veterans Services Coordinator, Operation Troop Support, the Veterans Outreach Officer from the Lowell Veterans Center, Mobile Veteran Center, a community outreach specialist from the Bedford VA, a financial planner, Mortgage Network Inc. and many more.
