Hamilton escaped any major problems on Wednesday as heavy rain and gusty winds swept through town.
No roads were closed and no other significant storm-related issued occurred after more than 3 inches of rain fell and the wind gusted to 25 miles per hour on Sept. 30, said Hamilton DPW Director Bill Redford.
Some branches came down on roads but no major trees or limbs fell, Redford said. There was some localized ponding on land but nothing major on town roads, he said.
Police Chief Russell Stevens said police officers handled no significant storm-related issues.
Redford said he will soon check the Ipswich River flow because the town may be able to lift the water ban before November this year.
