Wednesday is the final day for Hamilton residents to register to vote if they want to vote in the Presidential primary on March 1, according to Town Clerk Andrea Carlson.
The town clerk’s office in Hamilton Town Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10 to take new voter registrations. The town’s clerk’s office is located just inside the front door at Hamilton Town Hall, to the left.
If you have previously registered to vote in Hamilton, and you have not moved, you do not need to register again. Anyone who has never been registered to vote, including residents that will turn 18 before the Presidential primary, or anyone who has recently moved to Hamilton will need to register in order to vote in the primary. It takes just a few minutes to fill out a voter registration form.
Currently, there are about 5,600 registered voters in Hamilton.
