DPW Crews to Scrape Roads Until Ocean-Effect Snow Lets Up

Falling_snowflakes_in_EnglandThe Hamilton Department of Public Works has been sanding the roads since 11 a.m. on Friday using town staff, DPW Director Bill Redford said on Friday evening.

The crews will be scraping the roads until the snow lets up, he said.

Based on the forecast, temperatures above 32 degrees on Saturday, March 5 should melt the snow off the roads. On Friday night, though, there may be a number of slick spots from the “ocean effect” snow and Redford reminds everyone to please drive carefully.
