Design an Object for 3D Printing at Library Workshop

logo-tinkercad (1)Students of all ages (including adults) can learn how to use computer aided design for use with 3D printing at a workshop planned for next week at Hamilton-Wenham Public Library. Registration is free and open now.

Jeffrey Walsh will be the instructor for both sessions on Saturday, March 12. A session for ages 12-15 will run from 10:30 a.m.-noon and a session for ages 16 and up, including adults, will run from 1-2:30 p.m.

The workshop will be an introduction to the world of three-dimensional design using a free program called Tinkercad. Participants will learn how to use Tinkercad to build a 3-D object. Participants must sign-up for a Tinkercad account at www.tinkercad.com, and bring their own laptop to the workshop. Sign-up at the reference desk on the second floor of the library or call 978-468-5577.
