The Hamilton Annual Town Election is coming up on Thursday, April 7. Polls will be open at Winthrop Elementary School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The ballot includes contested races for the Board of Selectmen and Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District Committee, plus uncontested races for Moderator, Board of Assessors, Planning Board, Housing Authority and Hamilton-Wenham Library Trustees. For Selectmen, the three candidates on the ballot are incumbent Scott Maddern, Allison Jenkins and Rosemary Kennedy. There are four candidates for three, three-year terms on the School Committee, which will be elected along with Wenham. The candidates are incumbent Jeanise Bertrand, Michelle Bailey, Richard Boroff and David Polito. There is also one open one-year term on the School Committee and there is one candidate, Deborah Evans.
