Earlier phone problems at Hamilton Town Hall have been resolved, according to Town Manager Michael Lombardo.
Lombardo said he apologizes for the problems on Monday, which started in the morning with poor call quality at Town Hall. Outside calls were choppy and callers were having difficulty hearing town staff answering the phone. The issue was with the phone line coming into the Town Hall and also affected customers along Route 1A between Winthrop Elementary School and Hamilton Town Hall. The Public Safety Building was not affected. A Comcast technician was called and by 3 p.m. on Monday the problem was resolved.
