An outdoor fire that had the proper permit got out of control on Tuesday morning in Hamilton.
Nobody was injured and no property was damaged.
The Hamilton Fire Department was called at 10:33 a.m. about a permitted open burn that got out of control at 25 Gardner St., according to Fire Chief Philip Stevens. Engine 2 and Squad 5 used about 700 gallons of water to extinguish the fire, Stevens said. The fire crews were back in service by 11:30 a.m.
