Community Block Party Will Start with Bike Parade, End with Fireworks and Include Kids Activities and Food Trucks

block party 2Saturday will be a big day, packed with fun for all ages from 4-9 p.m. at the Two Town Community Block Party at Patton Park in Hamilton

It will start with the Bike and Covered Wagon Parade at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 at 4 p.m. at a new location – kicking off from the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library.

Bike decorating, sponsored by the Hamilton-Wenham Library, will run from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the library. Parade Participants should gather at the library at 3:30 p.m., according to Recreation Director Sean Timmons. The parade will run north on Union Street to Asbury Street to Patton Park.

At the park, there will be a patriotic tribute at the Patton Park gazebo with American Legion Post 194.

The block party will include amusement rides, children’s activities, music, food trucks and more ending with fireworks at dusk (about 9:15 p.m.).
