Fire Department Provides Mutual Aid to Beverly, Essex on July 4th

DSC08468The Hamilton Fire Department lent a helping hand not once, but twice, on Independence Day by providing mutual aid at multi-alarm fires in neighboring communities.

It started just after noon when Ladder 4 went to the central station in Beverly to cover the city while Beverly firefighters, as well as those from several other communities, fought a three-alarm fire at the Carriage House at Lynch Park, according to Hamilton Fire Chief Phil Stevens.

Later in the evening, Hamilton Engine 3 responded to Essex for a four-alarm fire at Quinn Brothers on Western Avenue.
