There are two affordable condo units available at Carriage House Junction in Hamilton and the deadline to apply to be part of the lottery is coming up in November.
A meeting to explain to process to apply and answer any questions has been scheduled, along with an open house. The units are each 2,000 square feet with three bedrooms and priced at $215,500 each for qualified first time home-buyers. Each unit also had 2-1/2 bathrooms and a one-car garage. There is a $146 monthly homeowner association fee that the new owner is responsible for, as well as property taxes.
The Carriage House Junction development is a 22-unit neighborhood at 602-606 Essex St., near the intersection with Bridge Street close to the Essex town line.
There will be an information meeting about the application process and to answer any questions in the Memorial room at Hamilton Town Hall on Oct. 13 at 6 p.m.
There will be an open house at unit 33 on Oct. 23 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The application deadline for the lottery is Nov. 17 and applications must be postmarked on or before that day. The lottery drawing will be held at Hamilton Town Hall on Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
