Now is the time to return your annual census to the Town Clerk’s office.
The town census should be returned by the end of January, according to Hamilton Town Clerk Andrea Carlson. Census information includes name, date of birth, occupation, veteran status, nationality (if not a citizen of the United States) and the residence of everyone in Hamilton 3-years-old and older. Census information about children under 17 is not made available to the public.
Also included in the census mailing is a blank dog license renewal form. Dog licenses expire on March 31 but can be renewed now if dog owners want, Carlson said. Renewal can be done by mail, in person at the Town Clerk’s office in Hamilton Town Hall or online.
