Absentee voting is now available for next month’s town election, according to Town Clerk Andrea Carlson. Voting can been done at the Town Clerk’s office in Hamilton Town Hall during regular hours – Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A copy of the specimen ballot is available on the town website. Positions on the ballot include Board of Selectmen, School Committee and Planning Board.
Voters that qualify for absentee voting are people who will be absent from Hamilton during normal polling hours (Thursday, April 6 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.), somebody who has a physical disability that prevents them from going to the polling place or because of religious beliefs.
