There are still open spots in the bicycle mechanics workshop on Saturday at the library.
The open seats are in the 1:30 p.m. workshop on Saturday, June 24 at Hamilton-Wenham Public Library. The earlier session at 10:30 a.m. is full, according to Rebecca Shea, the adult service librarian.
The workshop will be a great way to get ready for summer riding. Participants should bring their bicycle because it is a hands-on bicycle workshop where attendees will learn simple tricks to keep their bike in tip-top shape.
It will go over how to fix a flat tire and the best ways to avoid a flat tire in the first place. The workshop will be led by science educator and bicycle repairer Jeffrey Walsh.
It is designed for ages 11 and up, including adults. Registration is required and anyone can sign up at the Hamilton-Wenham Library reference desk or call 978-468-5577.
