Board of Health Plans Genetically Modified Organisms Film Screening, Discussion

Hamilton Public Health Nurse Chris Lee and the Hamilton Board of Health will be hosting a screening of the film “Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of Our Lives” followed by a discussion later this month.

Genetic RouletteThe film, by filmmaker Jeffrey M. Smith, explores the potential health hazards of incorporating genetically modified organisms (GMO) in our food supply. The film will be shown at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.

The event, including the subsequent discussion with Ed Stockman, co-founder of Massachusetts Right to Know GMOs, is scheduled to run until 9 p.m.

Stockman encourages attendees to show up at the event with GMO questions.

The film screening and discussion is free and open to all.
